Cow Print: One Pair of Shoes, Two Stylish Looks

One boots two ways-Isabella Melo,Hanne Gaby Odiele and their Rag & Bone cow print booties

Rag & Bone is undoubtedly one of the coolest label. I still remember vividly how excited I was when I saved up for several months, finally took the plunge and pre-ordered several pieces from their pre-fall 2012 collection via Moda Operandi last year. I already got the ribbed tank several weeks ago, and worn it with almost everything. Still wait for my favorite high-waist rose skinny.

I love rag & bone not only because of their high quality and perfect fit, their innovative yet classic design and their reasonable price tags, but also because of the designers, their enthusiasm for fashion, their courage to constantly challenge themselves and their free spirits to stay true to their lives and hearts.

It’s no surprise that these eye-catching cow print booties are from rag & bone. Compared to leopard print, this black and white cow print has a sense of humor and youthful innocence. The bold pattern is innovative while the color palette stays classic. Just like the brand itself: always be a modern relevance while still retaining a timeless feel.

When I was a child, my rain boots are in this print, cute and fun. Growing older, I found it was hard to pull off in a stylish way. But these looks from two supermodels definitely changed my mind!

19 years old Brazilian model Isabella Melo paired them with understated pieces and let the boots do the talk. Belgium model Hanne Gaby Odiele continued her bold style by pairing them with unique bright coat, trendy floral cropped top, hot sport style high waist shorts.

I can’t tell which one is better. They are both so stunning! By adding totally different pieces, the same Rag & Bone booties reflect their own styles- one is edgy, understated chic; the other is bold, trendy while still sophisticated.

Especially Hanne Gaby Odiele’s outfit, really reminds me of her runway model look during last year’s fashion week:

If cow print booties are not your style, the same print is also available in heels and flats. They will go perfect with this season’s hot neon trend (Cute cow print shoes: from Guess, OlsenHaus and Office):

Cow print shoes are much easier to pair with than we thought—think the pattern as a neutral, pair them just like normal heels– with colored denim, maxi dress or shorts, as these stylish young ladies did!

What do you think of cow print? Do you own any cow print piece? How do you style them?

I'm Helen. In the huge fashion world, what attracts me the most is the way different people accessorize themselves. Our daily outfit choices are not just about the pieces we pick, they relate to something lurking deeply within our hearts: how we feel about ourselves, how we express ourselves to the rest of the world, what kind of people do we want to be and what kind of life do we want to live. Following my passion for fashion, I immerse myself in this bizarre world and try my best to share what I learned with you!
